ACE hosts international HVTT
On September 7, 8 and 9, ACE Mobility is hosting the HVTT16 Regional NL Hub at the Automotive Campus in Helmond. The central theme of the HVTT16 Regional Hub NL is Automation and Digitalization.
The International Forum for Heavy Vehicle Transport & Technology (HVTTForum) is a global platform where professionals from different backgrounds exchange their knowledge and experience with the aim of promoting and supporting the development of technology, safety and policy for road freight transport. The HVTT Forum community spans from New Zealand, Australia, China, South Africa, Europe to South and North America. The community consists of more than a thousand experts. Every two years the HVTT Forum organizes a symposium in a different continent.
On September 7, 8 and 9, ACE Mobility will be hosting the HVTT16 Regional NL Hub at the Automotive Campus in Helmond. The central theme of the HVTT16 Regional Hub NL is Automation and Digitalization.
Topics of the congress
Truck platooning, intelligent transport systems, dynamic traffic management, intelligent access and assisted and unassisted driving. But also topics such as fuel savings and emission reduction, infrastructure maintenance, preventing truck accidents, longer and heavier freight vehicle combinations (LHVs and Super EcoCombi's) and improving the vehicle performance of heavy duty vehicles will be discussed.
The HVTT16 will take place in China. Unlike previous years, because of Covid-19 this year Regional Hubs will be organized all over the world, where the information exchange will take place in hybrid form. You can follow livestreams, watching recorded online sessions and live presentations and international experts will share their current knowledge. China will provide an exclusive insight into how they think about today's road freight transport and heavy-duty vehicle technology and how they are preparing for the developments of the future. Program at the regional Hub at the Automotive Campus
Visitors can follow Chinese livestreams (in the mornings) ánd a local program in the afternoon (for a limited number of visitors) at the Automotive Campus. ACE will present the IMIAT project for the experts who will be present at the regional hub.
