The R&D-department of B-Style is responsible for the development and engineering of all B-Style sold products. We design lowered floor conversion kits for small vehicles and vans, as well as floor and seating systems for bigger vans and busses. We do in house testing of our products and those of other parties.

Assignment/ work/ activities:
All vital parts of a vehicle must meet specific conditions in order to meet the strict European safety requirements. And B-Style Mobility Solutions meets all requirements. In the event of an accident, you naturally want the passengers to remain securely in place. It is vital that things like chair legs, seat belt columns and lowering the floor can withstand the impact. All products are developed by the R&D department of B-Style and subsequently tested on our own test bench.

Besides static testing with our pull bench we would like to enter the world of dynamic sled testing. We purchased a dynamic sled testing bench just recently, but without any controls, software or hardware (other than load cells). We would like you to design and develop an adequate system which meets industry standards. You will be working under the guidance and in close contact with our inhouse Software & Testing Engineer.
Part of the assignment can also be to subsequently draw up a project plan for building a full-size bench capable of launching a complete body shell.

At B-Style we provide a safe and enjoyable workspace. You will be part of a department full of former Automotive students who provide proper guidance, among other things, based on experience. Financially we offer 500 euros per month compensation.

You have the following competences/ skills:
We would prefer a student educated in electrical/mechanical engineering, mechatronics and/or ICT with possibly a specialization in testing. We would prefer you to be able to use SolidWorks or similar CAD-applications. In-depth knowledge of testing would be preferable.

We are looking for a student who is willing to collaborate, but can work independently on a daily basis. Preferably you work systematicly, but remain open to input of others.
