The primary purpose of the Product Service Engineer is to be the main contact for internal and external communications on technical and application related issues and questions on all Big Truck products but specifically focused on the electrification   

 

  • You will identify main technical service problems, prioritize and drive them to the relevant internal departments in order to resolve and implement timely solutions avoiding similar problems in future.
  • You will support dealers and customers when necessary, to troubleshoot, advice and implement solutions.
  • Field commissioning & build up to support dealers and customers with truck deliveries
 
  • Support new technology during the engineering development and first production trucks on customer site
  • Participate in New Product Development projects with After Market project deliverables and first production trucks at the customer site
  • You provide technical and operational training to dealers and end customers when required
  • Provide support to the technical training department with the preparation of training material
  • Flexibility to travel within EMEA and occasionally internationally when required
 

Knowledge required:

 
  • Bachelor degree in technical education (HTS) or equivalent technical experience
  • Knowledge of vehicle systems, specifically electrical architecture is a benefit.
  • At least 5 years experience in Material Handling or equivalent industry - Agricultural, Construction, Automotive industry
  • Excellent communicator, creative thinker and problem solving skills
  • Works well under pressure and able to prioritise and manage multiple task with conflicting deadlines
  • This job has a part of working in the field and will require travelling, occasionally travel is required outside of working hours.
  • Previous experience in customer facing role is a benefit
