Saskia Lavoo has been appointed General Manager of ACE Mobility by the board of ACE Mobility. She succeeds Kees Slingerland, who built ACE Mobility into a leading Center of Expertise.

Saskia Lavoo has mainly focused on expanding and strengthening contacts with the automotive industry and developing programs that contribute to well-educated students for the automotive and mobility industry. Over the past 5 years, ACE Mobility has developed strongly under the leadership of Kees Slingerland, who will retire on January 1, 2023. He leaves behind a Center of Expertise that, on the one hand, contributes to preparing students for the labor market and, on the other hand, a Center of Expertise that contributes to innovation by initiating and supporting programs in the field of smart and green mobility.

Developments in mobility are moving at lightning speed. The future of road traffic requires smart and green solutions. The Dutch automotive industry has an important position in this. ACE plays a pivotal role in maintaining this pioneering role and aims to keep the Dutch automotive sector strong, agile and future-proof. ACE is the pivot between the cooperation of the automotive courses of Fontys University of Applied Sciences, HAN University of Applied Sciences and the automotive industry.
