We proudly look back on a great success of the ACE Student Award 2020.

More than 80 livestreamers and approximately 30 people in physical presence were able to watch how the five nominated students of the Fontys University of Applied Sciences, Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and the HAN, had a chance to win the ACE Student Award 2020. The students presented their graduation research, though a pre-recorded video. With the WhatsApp application it was possible for the livestream audience to interactively participate in the ACE Student Award. Besides asking questions about the students' graduation research, the nominees were also fully encouraged by the livestream audience.

Rami Awad, student of the Automotive course at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, won the ACE Student Award 2020. He also received a cheque for a 3 or 4 day trip to a GP for 2 persons (incl. flight and hotel).

He carried out his graduation assignment at Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine Europe. His research was about developing a proof of concept that is able to digitally determine strain levels of any object and also to prove that this system works with already available equipment.

We wish all students a lot of success with the start of their careers in the automotive industry!
