You will work within the Test department’s specialized NVH section responsible for the NVH& FE model development and correlation. Your project will require cooperation and communication with both the NVH & CAE team in order to meet the project goals.

Description company:

Inalfa Roof Systems designs, develops and manufactures sunroofs and open-roof systems for the automotive industry. We are a First Tier supplier for brands as BMW Group, Audi, Volvo, Land Rover, and many others. Inalfa Roof Systems Group is headquartered in Venray (Limburg, close Venlo and the German border with Mönchengladbach and Düsseldorf in the area), The Netherlands, and we have a global footprint with facilities in Europe, Asia and the America’s.

Description department:

Test department counts approximately 23 employees. The department divides into several teams, each dedicated to a specific customer (e.g. BMW/JLR/Audi) or specialization (e.g. NVH, Projects, Operations).

The main task of the test department is to validate the roof systems developed by Inalfa, according to every possible test category and during all phases of a project.

Working at the Test department as a student will require a pro-active and flexible attitude, and will surely provide personal development and joy.

What are you going to do:

  • Development of a virtual model to predict the NVH-Performance of a sunroof (Glass Panel, Rollo)
  • Goals:
  • FE model for NVH to predict noise performance --> setup, develop model and conduct virtual investigation
  • NVH FE model which is correlated and validated --> measurements vs. simulation
  • Methodology to develop a model --> knowledge buildup, formulate technical guideline
  • 40 hrs per week

What do you bring:

          You are a graduation Master student;

•          Your graduation lasts for a minimum of 6 months

•          You are self-structuring, quick- and self-learning and have project organization skills;

•          You have good communication skills, also in English. Dutch and/ or German are a pre.

•          You have experience with A/D signal processing and analysis;

•          An acoustic, vibration and/ or CAE background with focus on FE modeling are a pre

•          You are a creative, independent and pro-active person.

  • We provide a good prepared assignment and personal support during your internship
  • You will receive a fee of €385,00 gross per month (40hrs). Additionally, we provide a travel compensation of up to €130,00 gross per month (based on commuting distance).
