Assignment/ work/ activities:
For a project within EDAG, an optimization by means of CAE calculation must be performed on an L6E vehicle. The aim of this project is to determine the load cases, setting up the simulation (definition of connections such as weld and bolt connections) and to implement an optimization loop on the basis of the results (by means of material changes or/and construction) and see if the improvements work. The initial model is made available to the graduating student by EDAG Nederland.

You have/ competences/ skills:
We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible students that are well known with the software Siemens NX/Nastran and who are willing to take their creative ideas to the next level. By creating concepts, analyse them and having discussions with experienced engineers and using their feedback in to not only improve your design, but to ultimately improve yourself!
